Professional Biography
Dr. Hooper is currently an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Hooper’s laboratory research studies include, the molecular mechanisms of bacterial resistance to antimicrobial agents, with a focus on quinolone resistance in Staphylococcus aureus and gram-negative bacteria. Clinical interests include the molecular epidemiology and control of antibiotic-resistant nosocomial pathogens.
